Wow, that looks pretty cool. I just got my Kings Landing Lego set. The first one I have ever seen with no assembly required.

Besides, this isn't the 1st time something like this has happened.

Unfortunately ... I'm at the age where I have to look at stuff like that. Soy sauce is extremely high in sodium. Even the low sodium stuff is really high. You can use regular

Simple chicken marinade 1/3 cup honey 1/3 cup olive oil 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce Salt and pepper if desired Simple recipe of stuff most everyone has that gives chicken a little something extra when grilling. You can let it marinade for an hour or even 8+. I made chicken shish kabobs for mothers day. Cubed the chicken and let it sit for a few hours.

There are about a thousand things I could bitch about, but I don't care anymore. I still watch only to go REALLY? I don't mind the main plot points for the most part, just how they get there. The production value is top notch though. Scenery, music, acting, and cinematography is all so good. But the writing just so bad. I liked this though: https://vredd.it/files/uopaqbtqh0y21-uopaqbtqh0y21.mp4 Kind of a knights tale vibe. I love me some ACDC.

I am pretty sure episode 6 is just the cops showing up and arresting everyone before a giant foot crushes John and the Iron Throne.

I watched the episode just today, and didn't really get what everyone was complaining about in regard to the darkness. It was definitely an issue when the battle first started, at the start of the episode, but it was fine a few minutes after the battle started. My suspicion is that all that darkness drastically reduced the CGI budget, which might have been necessary considering how extreme the episode was. Anyway, the episode was AMAZING in my opinion. There were definitely some "action scene" tropes, like characters showing up out of nowhere to help someone in peril, or insurmountable numbers of Wights seeming to disappear between scenes. Those minor gripes aside, I thought it was fantastic!

We got a nice RB, and some talent. I am happy, but we didn't need much. We shoulda drafted a kicker. haha

It was the deck of many things. It felt like that's all we were doing. I did not really expect it to be well run, 15-year-old kid doing it for the 1st time, so it was mostly just for him to learn. I think the hardest part of Dm can be managing people and giving them agency, but guiding them at the same time.

Yep, just letting you know the normal process if you didn't already and to clarify that I was reading it right about how they were making characters. Yeah, doesn't sound like a well run game and it gets annoying when you get "one of them" type of players who need to derail the game and make it all about them. The card deck sounds like the Deck of Many Things, which is a magical item though I don't know if they were running it right or not.

Confirmed! New modern product will feature 254 cards, 249 of which will be "new-to-modern." Those new-to-modern cards will be composed of entirely new cards AND reprints of cards not currently legal in modern. Presumably cards that were printed before 8th edition, or possibly cards from sets like Commander/Battlebond/Conspiracy/etc. There is no MSRP of course, but the packs will sell for $6.99 on MTGO. Here's the link to the announcement article: https://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/news/announcing-modern-horizons-2019-02-28 And a couple of previews!

The "Horizon Canopy" lands are pretty crazy, and Munitions Expert seems pretty good in 8-Whack.

I'm definitely interested in it. I play more competitive Magic than kitchen table magic though. I'm about 95 to 98 percent competitive Magic and 2 to 5 percent non-competitive. I like to watch pro Magic as a way to personally improve my play at the game.

I was hoping as Cersei went downstairs in the keep that she passed a dungeon with a still chained up Ellaria Sand with decomposed body directly across. Or as she passed another dungeon, she muttered the words shame to one of the figures jailed up. Just to show how bad ass she was.

She can't die in with fire, right? She's survived a ton of fires without a scratch. That would be cool though

Finished it last weekend. Overall, and in spite of the ill-fitting tower pieces, i enjoyed this quite a lot. Fantastic attention to detail throughout. The front of the finished model shows the external views of all the buildings towers and connected landscape. The rear of the model show all the internals, most classrooms, a few offices, and a few of the more famous set pieces from the movies. It's big. Really big. I installed very deep shelves in my study just to be able to install large models. But this won't fit; it's too deep. I think it's going to have to go on my desk in the study. I've recently added another leaf to the main table, to take a printer. So i'm hoping that i should have the space. In terms of cost and value against quality. All i can say is that i won't be looking at Lego, unless i cannot find a Lepin alternative, or Lepin costs go up. The difference in not enough to justify paying 3-4 times the price. Next project is likely to be either a Super-Star Destroyer, or the Death Star Mk II. Both of which are around £120. Or possibly the UCS Slave I, which is around £70. Lego stopped production of the Death Star Mk II, and you'd be hard pressed to pay less than a couple of grand for it today. I think that i perfect justification for buying Lepin, in that case. Pics inc.

Haha, yeah, I've played the game for something like 17+ years, but I still have never been to a pre-release. From what I hear, the boardstates are pretty complex with all the planeswalkers. I haven't played with the set at all myself, but I can't wait to lose to my own buffoonery.

So who is happy with their teams draft? Dallas is ok, only pick I really didn't like was Pollard in the 4th. Think that messed up the picks following it slightly.

Browns got OBJ and a good D end for the 17th pick, a safety and a guard, beyond thrilled. Rest were cover guys and lbs. Hopefully a couple of starters. Couldn't be happier!

I rewatched last night via HBO Go stream. Picture was much better. During a high demand broadcast like that, television providers compress the shit out of their signals. Complete bs, but whatever. Second thing, any display is going to struggle with that many blacks and greys. Wish the director (and video game designers) would keep that in mind.

Although i watched a good quality version - like 4Gb, the darkness was still quite blocky. Quite offputting. Still. Shouldn't complain.

I saw both yesterday ... about as entertaining of a day as I can imagine. The cool thing was both lived up to the hype. Only minor complaint was the picture quality of HBO seemed to be lacking.
