  1. Thought I'd start a topic that we can hopefully pin to this part of the forum, where people share what are the games they are currently playing, what they think of them & if they recommend them to others. To kick off: Am currently playing Splatoon 2 on the Nintendo Switch. It's a quick, fun take on the multiplayer shooter genre, where you play as an Inkling & you have to cover an arena in as much of your team's colour ink within 3 minutes, whilst battling a rival team who keep trying to cover your ink & territory in their colour. It's fun, silly and fast but has a lot of depth involved with how you go about your goal. The lack of in game chat options both helps & hinders the game but not as much as having to use a special app & device in order to chat with friends on your own team. Am also playing Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age on the PS4. FF12 is one of my favourite Final Fantasy games because of how it tried to change up so much, making it more akin to FF11 & other MMORPGs of the time. The gambit system and real time battles makes the formula completely different from the previous turn based battles that made the series famous. The remastering makes an already pretty game gorgeous, as does the full re-recording of the soundtrack with a new orchestal music & 7.1 surround sound. Pretty how how a remastering should be done.
  2. Anybody else playing/played this game? @Aurian got it for me for my birthday in March (after strong hints), and I finally got around to starting it. I'm now about 20-hours in, and enjoying myself. It seems to be a lot like Assassin's Creed in terms of handling. There is some ledge climbing and tightrope walking, but I like that the game automatically does some of that for you. You still have to know where to go, but it's not all dexterity. On the negative side, I have to keep it on EASY difficulty because I suck at such games... anything involving 3D and shooting is hard for me, but I find this more difficult than Borderlands or Fallout (which I usually left at default).
  3. Mix of Let's Play videos (not MTG) and Magic the Gathering content.
  4. I kept seeing videos on YouTube about this game and I ended up watching a bunch of tips and tricks. It's an early access game on Steam (yeah, I know) but it looks like a lot of fun. Has anyone tried it or interesting in playing it?
  5. This week we talk about how our insane threaten and fling deck turned out, and then pick two decks to tune up in preparation for GP Vegas! We talk about how the meta game has changed since we first brewed them, and pack the best artifact removal we can get through airport security. 8. This is the Mox Team Zirconia Podcast! We are a Magic: The Gathering podcast for everyone, typically focusing on the Standard constructed format and brewing up a new deck every week. We also talk about current events in the format, and discuss powerful cards and decks. We brewed up a speculative deck last week without the full Amonkhet set list availble, and this week we talk about what new cards would fit in! Also, we take a break and hear all about the Magic Art Show that will be at GP Las Vegas in June with an interview with Brian, the logistics man behind it all. Then we brew up a Red/Black discard deck full of new cards that splashes green for Noose Constrictor. We also talk about current events in the format, and discuss powerful cards and decks. This week we rejoice at the Felidar Guardian banning and talk about how our Nissa deck ran. Then we talk about our first look at the new meta-game, and since we're gluttons for punishment we try one more time to brew up a control deck well. 10. This is the Mox Team Zirconia Podcast! We are a Magic: The Gathering podcast for everyone, typically focusing on the Standard constructed format and brewing up a new deck every week. We also talk about current events in the format, and discuss powerful cards and decks. This week we celebrate the new artifact hate in Amonkhet that will surely spell the end of Mardu Vehicles, and lament that it will also probably kill our Statuary deck, which performed much better than expected. Then we talk about some more spicy previews for Amonkhet, and then brew up a nice safe aggressive humans deck to kick off new Standard. We also talk about current events in the format, and discuss powerful cards and decks. This week we talk about what worked and didn't work in our Jund discard deck, then we discuss the current state of Standard after the banned and restricted announcement didn't change anything for Standard. After that, we decided to build a midrange stompy deck around Nissa, Steward of Elements. 12. This is the Mox Team Zirconia Podcast! We are a Magic: The Gathering podcast for everyone, typically focusing on the Standard constructed format and brewing up a new deck every week. We also talk about current events in the format, and discuss powerful cards and decks. This week we talk about all the fun new spoilers we've seen from Amonkhet! Also, we talk about our collective incompetence at control decks, and brew up a ridiculous improvise deck using inspiring statuary that either drops some big eldrazi or a swarm of dragon tokens to win! Here is where you can find all of our decks on tappedout so you can follow along with our discussions (we put cards that we talk about on the podcast in the maybeboard for you to reference as we go): http://tappedout.net/users/moxteamzirconia/deck-folders/ We brewed a new Frontier improvise deck live on the podcast last week. We also talk about current events in the format, and discuss powerful cards and decks. This week Kriz from The Girlfriend Bracket podcast joins us once again to help us with another control deck, as we've identified that archetype as a point of weakness in our brewing abilities. We also talk about the impact that the newest Modern Masters set has had on the game. Since Amonkhet isn't here yet, this is the perfect time to start having even more fun playing Frontier. We also talk about current events in the format, and discuss powerful cards and decks. This week we talk about the results of testing our Frontier deck in the wild (see what I did there?) and decide that we're so tired of the copy cat combo that we brewed up a control deck around Lost Legacy of all crazy things. We hope it will be a nightmare for the combo players. We also talk about current events in the format, and discuss powerful cards and decks. This week we talk about things we learned from playing a tempo strategy, which we rarely do, and we agree that we need more practice! We also talk about how the meta-game of Standard has shifted already, only one week after the Pro Tour, then, we take a winning formula and try to streamline it, and we brew a mono-white vehicles deck. 21. Trying to decide between these two games, hoping someone here has played one or both and can help me pick which one to play. Initially I was set on Elite: Dangerous but after reading reviews and the posts made by @Jazz it appears they keep going for cash grab expansions that offer little or unfinished content. Star Citizen looks good, but how much of the game is playable?
