Yup ... I listened to one of Tom Petty's albums today while at work (Wildflowers).  But then I also listened to one of my favorite Webb Wilder albums.  I recommend it for listening entertainment (and the music is pretty good, too).  Here's a nibble ...

In honor of this thread, I present ... Mountain from their Climbing! album, which on the back of the cover reads, "THIS RECORD WAS MADE TO BE PLAYED LOUD."  (yes, all caps)   :D

Lyrics

Mississippi Queen
You know what I mean
Mississippi Queen
She taught me everything

Went down around Vicksburg
Around Louisiana way
Where lived the Cajun Lady
Aboard the Mississippi Queen

You know she was a dancer
She moved better on wine

While the rest of them dudes were gettin' their kicks
Boy, I beg your pardon, I was gettin' mine

Mississippi Queen
If you know what I mean
Mississippi Queen
She taught me everything

This lady she asked me
If I would be her man
You know that I told her
I'd do what I can

To keep her lookin' pretty
Buy her dresses that shine

While the rest of them dudes were makin' their friends
Boy, I beg your pardon, I was loosin' mine

You know she was a dancer
She moved better on wine

While the rest of them dudes were gettin' their kicks
Boy, I beg your pardon, I was gettin' mine

Yeah, Mississippi Queen

Currently, I'm listening to the soundtrack from Hamilton. Mostly cause I saw it Sunday with a date (!)

I had been listening to the soundtrack before, and I loved it. I don't like rap. But Hamilton manages to meld the music very well with rap.

Ed Sheeran did a few shows in the Johan Cruijff Arena (Amsterdam) this week. Last night he suddenly invites Robbie Williams up on stage to do Angels. I'm not sure how big an anthem this is in the rest of the world, but over here it's been the nr.1 feelgood singalong for over 2 decades. When it comes on in pubs & clubs everybody yells the lyrics from start to finish, from 16y/o girls to big burly guys in their 50's. I wasn't there, I'm not a Sheeran enthusiast, but many youngsters brought their parents and again young & old went berserk. This video gave me goosebumps.

The Orlando Nightclub Shooting happened more than two years ago.  It shouldn't be too soon for this ...

Lyrics:

Spoiler

Are you ready Steve? Uh-huh

Andy? Yeah

Mick? Okay

Alright fellas, let's go!

Oh it's been getting so hard

Living with the things you do to me

My dreams are getting so strange

I'd like to tell you everything I see

Oh, I see a man at the back as a matter of fact

His eyes are as red as the sun

And the girl in the corner let no one ignore her

Cause she thinks she's the passionate one

Oh yeah! It was like lightning

Everybody was fighting

And the music was soothing

And they all started grooving

Yeah, yeah, yeah-yeah-yeah

And the man in the back said everyone attack

And it turned into a ballroom blitz

And the girl in the corner said boy I want to warn you

It'll turn into a ballroom blitz

Ballroom blitz, ballroom blitz, ballroom blitz, ballroom blitz

Oh reaching out for something

Touching nothing's all I ever do

Oh I softly call you over

When you appear there's nothing left of you

And the man in the back is ready to crack

As he raises his hands to the sky

And the girl in the corner is everyone's woman

She could kill you with a wink of her eye

Oh yeah! It was electric

So perfectly hectic

And the band started leaving

'Cause they all stopped breathing

Yeah, yeah, yeah-yeah-yeah

And the man in the back said everyone attack

And it turned into a ballroom blitz

And the girl in the corner said boy I want to warn you

It'll turn into a ballroom blitz

Ballroom blitz, ballroom blitz, ballroom blitz, ballroom blitz

Oh yeah! It was like lightning

Everybody was fighting

And the music was soothing

And they all started grooving

Yeah, yeah, yeah-yeah-yeah

And the man in the back said everyone attack

And it turned into a ballroom blitz

And the girl in the corner said boy I want to warn you

It'll turn into a ballroom blitz

Ballroom blitz, ballroom blitz, ballroom blitz, ballroom blitz

It's it's a ballroom blitz

It's it's a ballroom blitz

It's it's a ballroom blitz

Yeah, it's a ballroom blitz
