Core Set 2019 cards found in Dominaria boosters

6 posts in this topic

Someone found these in a box of Dominaria! It looks like another weird blunder on the part of WOTC, this one is fairly minor as the cards are rudimentary commons, but it's definitely a bizarre mistake to make.

Is it really possible for a company the size of Hasbro to have so many leaks like this accidentally? They seem to happen coincidentally right around the time the excitement about a new set had peaked and players'attention might start to wander away from magic...

Definitely! And as it happens, there is a perfectly even 50-50 distribution of new/old cards "leaked." Not shown above are Disperse, Goblin Instigator, and Loxodon Line Breaker, so 9 reprints and 9 new cards.

I figure it's not worth creating an official spoiler thread yet but some more cards were spoiled recently. If you are familiar with Geek and Sundry, their Spellslingers series is back and apparently they slipped some Core Set 2019 cards in at some point...or something. Anyway, here are some of the more interesting ones.
