How much do you spend yearly on MTG?

Bumping an old thread here instead of starting a new one.  My spending habits have drastically changed.  I've only purchased some singles and haven't bought a box for almost a year other than Unstable for my group to draft for Christmas.  I'll probably get a box of Dominaria

Just quickly adding it up, I think I've spent ~$275 on MTG so far in 2018. More than I thought, but I have been super frugal when it comes to buying stuff. I've bought no Unstable, Iconic, M25, Dominaria, RIX. I do the prereleases, and then buy singles if need be. I did buy BBD packs for a draft with friends but thats it for sealed products.

I built an EDH deck recently that is fairly expensive, but I only spent $21 CDN on it plus ~$12 for the sleeves. My goal was to try to trade for as much as I could, and although it took a LONG time (like 8+months), it felt really rewarding in the end.

Hmm.. I'd say that I would normally buy two boosters of whatever main set is legal at the time and one of each expansion depending on how the sets are. So probably between $1000 - $1500 per year. Only trade for singles though.

Depends how many decks I want to build/finish/update. Usually it's a few hundred, sometimes it's a few thousand (this year I replaced some stolen dual lands to rebuild some legacy decks-ouch!).
